Simba movie review

Simba Movie 2018 From the whistle blowing sequences for the front benchers to the flying cars for the kids and action lovers... he has it all to impress the audience and has now got a strong hold of the pulse of the audience !!! Don’t know how many of you can recall his first movie... “ Zameen “ in 2003 !! From 2003 to 2018... in 15 years... and with the “Golmaal” and “Singham” franchises behind along with a few other successful comedy movies.
He decides to make another cop movie called “Simmba” and does a fantastic job and comes out with flying colours 👍 Simba review “Simmba” is a story about a young boy who wants to become a police officer when he grows up but for all the wrong reasons... firstly to have the power to do anything and then to earn money through all the wrong means !! Rohit Shetty movies always have a grand entry sequence for the hero. and “Simmba” too doesn’t disappoint in this count.
Ranveer Singh plays “Simmba” and does an excellent job in not just enacting the role of a corrupt , tacky police officer with such elan but also wins the audience’s heart by his one liners and superb comic timing !! Although during the first half of the movie one tends to gets the feeling that he’s getting a little overboard by getting a bit loud in certain scenes (although it is the requirement of the character) ... but he switches gear to a different level in the second half and each and every frame that he is in then makes the audience super excited and claps and whistles just comes out as a natural thing!! Ranveer does a very good job throughout the movie and the entire movie belongs to him , whether it is his slapstick comedy , his one liners , his comic timing... he shines in all !! The action sequences are superbly done... though we didn’t get to see the usual flying cars in a Rohit Shetty movie...but it makes up with a grand special appearance of Ajay Devgan as “Bajirao Singham” who also makes a spectacular entry towards the climax of the movie !! Simba 2019 Simba The supporting cast of Sara Ali Khan , Sonu Sood... who plays the villain and Ashutosh Rana in the role of the head constable are all under utilised
Sara looks gorgeous who is there to look pretty and to dance to a few foot tapping numbers... “Aankh Maare” being one of them , with a special appearance by the “Golmaal” team in the song... but sad to see Sara not getting much of a scope to show her acting skills !! The other supporting cast are the usual ones from Marathi film and theatre background whom we normally get to see in most Rohit Shetty Movies !! However another character which is noteworthy to be mentioned is... none other than the “Backgroud Score” of the movie by composer “Amar Mohile”!! Take out the background score from “Simmba” and it won’t even be half effective as how it has turned out to be... such is the effect of the “Background Score” be it the “ Simmba Theme “ or the “ Singham” theme when Ajay makes a grand entry 👍 With a social message for the society and with a high octane performance by Ranveer Singh... “Simmba” ticks all the right boxes to deliver a BLOCKBUSTER !! And for those who thought only Ajay Devgan’s special appearance was special... you all are in for a bigger surprise in the last scene... “Veer Suryavanshi” is going to take charge in 2019 👍 won’t spoil the surprise... 😉 My recommendation... maybe not a MUST watch but surely a one time watch which is a total “Paisa Vasool” movie which will set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office😊👍 Can someone hear Rohit Shetty saying ??? .... “ Bhau....Je mala mait nai... te Saanga.... Tell me something that I don’t know”😉😉👍
